The reason I chose Cambodia, is because the country’s status, still to this day, is not free. I’ve heard that they were doing good as far as trade and government spending, so I figured that that would be good enough when it came to the economy. However, with the population rising to over 15 million citizens, poverty among them also grew. What also made Cambodia an interest was awhile ago I read about the Khmer Rouge regime in 1975 that killed millions of Cambodians for being “lazy” as far as being “smart” or educated. So far when you think about it, though they’ve been through alot just like many other countries, and they’re very close to being in the worst predicament when it comes to being free, they are still trying to get to a better position for their country and outside sources.
